The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is currently seeking a Shop Foreman with Rallye Lexus! The Shop foreman must ensure the quality of service work performed by fully utilizing all the resources of the service department; serve as a liaison between the service advisors and technicians, as well to serve as coordinator and technical advisor for all repeat shop repairs.

- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat service customers by ensuring that customer vehicles are repaired and maintained properly "fixed right the first time."
- Keep up to date knowledge of Lexus products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by training on the job, and attending training programs
- Maintain adequate supplies of equipment, tools, and shop supplies
- Operate and maintain the service department according to the safety and appearance standards established by Rallye and Lexus, and appropriate government entities
- Meet all requirements of Federal and State law dealing with automobile repair and consumer protection
- Assist with the assignment of repair orders and planning of work distribution
- Inspect the quality of work performed while in progress, and assist technicians with technical issues
- Provide technicians and service advisors with technical information and repair procedures
- Work to consistently improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Service Department by conducting in-center training and through coaching of technicians
- Increase staff's technical knowledge by coordinating training for service technicians, including attendance at Lexus training seminars and workshops
- Assist Service Manager with issues involving personnel, facilities, tools, or equipment that could affect productivity, efficiency, work quality, or customer satisfaction
- Coordinate information, processes, and relationships with Service Manager, Service Advisors, Parts Manager, and Parts Counter Person
- Interact with customers to resolve vehicle problems, which have been difficult to isolate
Requirements
- Clean and Valid Driver's License
- 5 years of Lexus automotive technician experience
- Mechanical skills and manual dexterity
- Experience supervising, coaching, delegating and training technicians
- Working knowledge of all shop equipment
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to read, and comprehend instructions and information
- Must achieve 8 ASE's once hired
