We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Banquet Cook to oversee the preparation and execution of banquet events at Napoleon House. This individual will ensure the highest level of food quality and guarantee that all banquet events are executed seamlessly. Key Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise a team of cooks, and kitchen staff during banquet events.
Plan and execute the preparation of food for large-scale banquets, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
Collaborate with the event coordination team to ensure menu planning meets the needs of the client and event specifications.
Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to portion control, recipe standards, and presentation guidelines.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of all banquet meals, maintaining high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen operations to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed.
Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels for banquet events.
Maintain a high level of communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and resolve any kitchen issues during banquet events, maintaining a calm and effective presence.
Qualifications :
Proven leadership experience as a Lead Banquet Cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Extensive experience in banquet services, including large-scale event production and coordination.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with other departments.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and health standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for events.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to event challenges.
