Position Overview: As a member of the FRP department, you'll play a key role in our growing production team. This position involves working with specialized equipment and collaborating with a small team to produce high-quality products. You'll be essential in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet our standards of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate specialized equipment and tools including grinders, sanders, spray guns, gel coating, and vacuum infusion systems.
- Make precise cuts of materials using cordless scissors.
- Work as part of a team to achieve high-quality and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and actively work to minimize risks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support innovation in our production processes.
- Utilize production-driven software to assist in manufacturing tasks.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds, either independently or with a partner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Experience with pneumatic grinders and saws is a plus.
Shift Details:
- Schedule: First shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Special Requirements: Must be willing to use a respirator and be clean-shaven.
