Position Overview:

As a key member of our Tooling Department, you’ll play a critical role in creating and repairing molds using fiberglass, urethane, and aluminum. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to the high-quality products we manufacture across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and repair molds using a variety of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Plan and create patterns by duplicating existing molds or sourcing a master pattern, ensuring precise measurements.
• Perform quality checks to ensure molds meet company standards and production needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot mold-related issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools and workspaces to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with mold-making, tooling, or related fields (fiberglass, urethane, or aluminum work is a plus).
• Proficiency with tools and equipment, including hand tools, measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, scales), and shop equipment (table saw, band saw, drill press, milling machine, lathe, sanders).
• Strong attention to detail—precision and patience are critical for success in mold-making.
• Team player mindset—must work collaboratively with employees across departments.
• Carpentry skills are beneficial for understanding materials, methods, and blueprints.
• Basic math and reading skills to accurately mix materials and take precise measurements.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and handle repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to wear a respirator and be clean-shaven to ensure a proper fit.

Shift Details:

• Schedule: First shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm OR Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
• Special Requirements: Must be willing to use a respirator and be clean-shaven.
