Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our fast-paced family business. The ideal candidate will support daily operations by handling administrative tasks, assisting with financial reports, and keeping the office running smoothly. This role requires strong communication skills, experience with accounting software, and knowledge of general ledger practices.
Responsibilities
- Strong Ability to Shift from task to task in this fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with journal entries
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Saasant, and Excel
- Knowledge of HACCP /GMP principles is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications
- Proficient in accounting principles
- Strong experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, Saasant
- Skilled in general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prepare financial reports and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Familiarity with GMP and HACCP regulations
- Familiarity with EDI
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
