Job Summary:

RAM Enterprise, Inc. is looking for an experienced, observant, and motivated individual to join us as a Marketing Assistant. This role is responsible for managing the administrative tasks of marketing and assisting the Executive Team with meeting notes, projects, and other tasks as needed. This will be a non-exempt hourly position reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety

  • Actively promote safety as the company’s number one priority.

Marketing

  • Implement the day-to-day marketing communications, as instructed by the VP of Marketing
  • Travel to sites to take footage/pictures of RAM accomplishments and jobs for sales, marketing, estimating, spotlighting of jobs
  • Take product photos per the established branding guidelines
  • Create social media posts focused on people, culture, jobs and company news.
  • Create and manage company newsletters.
  • Ensure all messaging and content fits within brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars.
  • May be asked to design graphics, edit video, or create other forms of content beyond written.
  • Maintain a content calendar.
  • Create files for print, as needed to support other business units
  • Work with business units on general marketing needs; including print materials such as safety booklets, labels, stickers.
  • Maintain corporate wall art library, assisting facilities with ordering new artwork as needed
  • Assist other business units in the creation and compiling of training materials, manuals, etc.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, ensuring seamless communication and project flow.

Promotional Materials/Company Store

  • Manage the process of identifying, quoting, ordering, and distribution of RAM Swag (shirts, hats, backpacks, mugs, banners, site signs, booths, buttons, promotional goods) based on facility needs.
  • Create custom swag “thank you” gifts as needed
  • Create and manage annual wall calendar design and printing
  • Manage annual customer gift baskets including contents, building, distribution, etc.
  • Manage the creation of and ordering of business cards, new hire swag, etc. as directed
  • Manage any unassigned promotional materials on site at HQ building

Tradeshows

  • Manage tradeshow digital presence by uploading logo, company description, registering attendees, collateral, etc.
  • Order booth contents such as carpet, padding, electrical, etc.
  • Gather needed print materials and supplies for booth, ensuring it gets to the tradeshow
  • Coordinate the logistics of trade show participation, including booth setup, signage, equipment, shipping, and other logistical requirements, if attending show
  • Attend tradeshows as assigned by VP of Marketing

Budget/Financial

  • Track marketing spend and ensure it is allocated to the right GL
  • Manage individual marketing expenditures and modify as needed to match to revenue
  • Work with business units to provide the best value for the lowest cost on marketing materials
  • Update marketing budget on an ongoing basis to ensure spend is within approved budget

Executive Team Assistance

  • Take meeting notes as requested
  • Help with special projects
  • Write content as requested
  • Assist with travel plans, meeting rooms and lunch/dinner arrangements as needed

Meeting Assistance

  • Assist with organizing the annual Leadership Meeting by gathering participant names, travel arrangements, food restrictions, etc.
  • Manage the administrative tasks of organizing and implementing a meeting
  • Be on site to greet all attendees, confirm room layouts and deal with any issues that arise
  • Responsible for gathering and bringing all necessary flip charts, pens, agendas, handouts, etc.

General Office Assistance

  • Back up the front desk position as needed, answering phones, helping people and directing inquiries
  • Help to set up the conference room for meetings, as directed

Expectations:

  • Only approved creative content, as noted in the Brand Guidelines, shall be used, unless authorized in writing at the beginning of a project
  • All collateral must be reviewed by VP of Marketing, and Safety (if any photos are being used) prior to sharing internally or externally and approved. Includes print, swag, social media, etc.
  • OneNote; add all projects into the Marketing Log One Note, no matter how small or inconsequential
  • Consistently respond to internal and external inquiries within 2 hours, with either; 1) the requested information 2) notification of a different expectation
  • Meet established deadlines or communicate prior to deadline any additional time needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in marketing or relevant field. OR equivalent experience
  • Proven success and work experience as a marketing assistant or similar role.
  • Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Superior computer skills
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding results
  • We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual
  • Professional work experience in Construction, Electrical, Power Generation, Mining industries
  • Have an understanding of graphic design layout and composition in several forms of media (print, signage, websites and video editing)
  • Effectively manage and track multiple projects

Work Environment:

  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
  • Regular office environment expectations: Sitting at least 80%, Standing, walking, and bending at least 10%
  • Travel to RAM facilities and job sites, as needed
  • Position is located in Elko, NV
  • Office Based position
