Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking, experienced professional who will oversee all aspects of our projects. The Process Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for developing new client base and maintaining existing clients, coordination, and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope as well as establishing and developing a professional working team. This is an exempt, salaried position, reporting directly to the Yukon Regional Director of RAM Enterprise, Inc.
The selected candidate but be located in or willing to relocate to the Palmer, AK area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must have a proven record of commitment to Safety and be responsible for the overall safety associated with your assigned projects.
- Responsible for maintaining existing clients and developing new business within the region.
- Will be responsible for estimating small to medium size projects and working with the estimating department on larger more complex projects.
- Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as coordinate internal resources and vendors for the execution of projects
- Responsible for developing and mentoring your team, General Foremen and below.
- Follow the project timeline and the given budget to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate techniques.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Responsible for orderliness on site and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
- Must be an active listener, recognizing diverse perspectives and be capable of facilitating collaboration.
- Must be dedicated to supporting the team through mentoring, training, and succession planning activities.
- Clearly understand company profit expectations and the impact of them on monthly financials.
- The expectation for this position will be 50% time allocated to business development/sales and 50% time allocated to on-site management and supervision.
- Other job duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 years on the job supervision experience in the mining/fixed maintenance industry.
- A valid driver’s license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft platform, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
- Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with all personnel and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working on smartphones and tablets.
- Advanced understanding of MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations
Criteria/Conditions:
- Ability to work in various industrial settings, including Shop environment, mining environment, construction environment, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, rick of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
- Ability to travel and work remotely if required.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, using proper lifting techniques.
- While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.
