Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Associate to join our growing team in the construction provider industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, an interest in construction project management, and a desire to help our company expand its market presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a business development and sales career in construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential customers in the construction industry, including contractors, builders, engineers, and project managers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their projects.
  • Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and stay informed on key customer needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our product offerings, including construction materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, and more, to effectively communicate benefits and features to customers.
  • Sales Support: Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotes and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and continued business.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer deliveries.
  • Reporting: Track and report sales activities, customer feedback, and progress toward sales goals.
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel, nationally and internationally.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in sales, construction, and building materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or the construction industry (a plus, but not required).

Compensation:
  • $50,000 - $60,000 Annual Base Salary
