Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction in clinical reimbursement across multiple nursing home facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective reimbursement strategies to optimize revenue and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with facility administrators, finance teams, and clinical staff to streamline processes and enhance reimbursement efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes, payer guidelines, and Medicare/Medicaid policies to proactively adapt reimbursement practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accurate documentation, coding, and billing practices.
  • Mentor and support facility-based reimbursement teams to achieve excellence in their roles.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance reimbursement performance and financial outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare reimbursement, with a focus on long-term care facilities.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement regulations and policies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and billing systems.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets
