- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and meat cutting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and kitchen area, including proper storage of products and ingredients.
- Confidently operate the bar's point of sale's system.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring excellent guest relations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in banquet preparations when required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a manager
- Previous experience as a bartender
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Knowledge of various liquor, beer, wine, etc.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and tools, including knives.
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
- Cash handling.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.
