Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through regular maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Lead small teams during larger maintenance projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, including landscaping, cleaning, and general upkeep of the property.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on facilities maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Leadership experience is a plus, particularly in guiding teams through projects.
- Previous experience in residential painting and customer service will be beneficial.
- A background in electrical work is highly desirable.
