Principal Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional, prompt, and courteous breakfast service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Serve menu items promptly and courteously while maintaining high service standards.
- Prepare food efficiently and accurately for service and special functions, ensuring all stations are set according to forecasted needs.
- Perform pre- and post-shift tasks, including station setups, breakdowns, and preparation of condiments and supplies.
- Clear tables after service and transport dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Adhere to health and cleanliness standards as mandated by state and local Health Board regulations.
- Prepare food items for subsequent shifts or the following day as required.
- Monitor and report food inventory levels to supervisors or the Manager on Duty as needed.
- Rotate food stock and inventory in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and quality of coolers and storage areas.
- Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain an up-to-date food handler permit.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds independently; heavier items require team lifting.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, climb, stand, crawl, and move throughout the facility.
Compensation:Starting at $12.50/hour, DOE (depending on experience).
Additional Information:A Food Handler's Permit is not required at the time of hire.
