This position will be remote but will require travel within the Midwest, mostly in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. Travel will be in relation to acquiring sites for lease, meeting with owners for leasing executions, and planning / zoning meetings. Expect to be on the road on average two days per week.

The Site Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in leading site acquisitions efforts within the telecom market. This position is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing real estate for new telecom infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of site acquisition services. The role requires in-depth market research to identify viable site locations, negotiating lease agreements, project tracking, and collaborating with clients and internal teams throughout the site acquisition process. Additionally, the Site Acquisition Specialist assists with zoning and permitting activities, including researching applicable regulations, preparing applications, and navigating approval processes.
To be considered for this role, you must have your Real Estate License (or willing to obtain one within 6 months) and have experience in real estate, leasing and contracts, and a proven track record of successful lease and contract negotiations. A strong understanding of local zoning regulations, land use laws, and environmental permitting will make you a top candidate. Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly preferred.
Because you will work with many different parties from the clients to landowners to our own internal team, excellent communication skills are required. Other skills that will help you be successful in this role include negotiation, organization, customer service, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
