Sales Coordinator

Summary of Position:

The Sales Coordinator position provides coordination between the Distribution Department, Sales Team. The Sales Coordinator works with members of the accounting, marketing department, logistics department, sales, sales support and others to ensure continuity in the company’s sales philosophy. This role adheres to and promotes Ramar Foods values by performing respective duties in a manner that supports and contributes to the achievement of Ramar Foods goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Merchandising Strategy - implement merchandising strategies that align with company goals and drive sales growth. Ensure products are displayed in an attractive and accessible manner in retail locations.
  2. Planogram Execution- maintain planograms that optimize product placement and visibility. Work with retail partners to ensure adherence to planograms and merchandising guidelines.
  3. Store Visits - Conduct regular store visits to monitor product displays, ensure compliance with merchandising standards, and gather feedback from retail staff and customers.
  4. Inventory Management - Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to manage inventory levels, ensuring products are adequately stocked and minimizing out-of-stock situations.
  5. Customer Relations - Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products and services.
  6. Sales Support - Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, managing customer accounts, and processing orders. Schedule and coordinate sales meetings, presentations, and events. Assist in the preparation of sales materials, proposals, and contracts.
  7. Order Management - Coordinate the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders, managing inventory levels, and liaising with the supply chain and logistics teams.
  8. Product Promotion - coordinate promotional activities, including trade shows, product launches, and marketing campaigns, to support sales efforts.
  9. Sales Report-Assist in analyzing sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.
  10. Data Management - Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and CRM systems. Ensure data accuracy and generate reports as needed.
  11. Training and Development - Attend training and development as needed
  12. Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and or G-Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales software is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
