Shipping and Receiving /Forklift Operator (Full-time Position)
90-day Temp-to-Hire Opportunity for long-term employment!
Starting pay is $800/ Week, Pay will be reevaluated after 90 days

Shift Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Hours: 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM (The hours vary, the shift ends when the job is completed, average 40-45 hrs/ week)
Saturday & Sunday Off (On rare occasions we do work weekends, we have worked 4 Saturdays in the past 5 years)
Must be able to work Overtime when needed
Qualifications
- 1 Years of warehouse experience
- Forklift & power walkie experience preferred(valid forklift certification is a plus)
- Must be computer literate and able to use the Microsoft Office(Excel & Word)
- Read, Write, and speak English(Bilingual is a plus)
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to operate computers for shipping/tracking packages.
Job Duties
- Fill out reports for inbound and outbound product
- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas in a safe and timely manner.
- Process received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and safety of received goods by following the company's defined procedures to inspect both the truck and materials
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Assist in the shipping and warehouse areas as needed
- Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
- Enforce and follow all safety, GMP, and USDA policies/procedures.
- Ensure the proper stocking of all production materials needed for the production line daily.
- Shrink wraps pallets either manually in preparation for shipment.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

- Able to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

- Able to communicate, both verbally and in writing in English, effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work in a cold prep area kept at 40F degrees
