What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yacht Broker & Territory Development Leader position at RAMarkable Yacht Sales?
This is a critical role for the organization and the successful candidate will bring her/his “A” game with high energy, enthusiasm and boating experience to build relationships that attract new customers. This role has dual responsibility of bringing in new business and also acting as broker to manage the process from intake through deal close. This sales “hunter” will be responsible for attracting new prospects who are selling or buying vessels and will leverage various channels to discover, contact and convert these prospects into revenue-generating clients. Typical discovery methods include, but are not limited to: 1. scanning through online sites and social media apps to sort out FSBO (for sale by owner) clients from brokers 2. Visiting marinas with an eye toward FSBO signs and/or developing relationships with clients considering to sell or purchase 3. Attending events such as boat shows and gatherings that help develop new business. In addition, broker responsibilities will include managing all steps from client intake through successful deal close.
Key Responsibilities
• Onboard new clients and listings
• Suggest & develop creative ways for discovering new prospects
• Manage deals as the listing broker, selling broker or both
• Participate in industry-related personal development seminars and trainings
• Build relationships with other brokers through co-brokered deals
• Solicit feedback for continuous self-improvement
• Above-average proficiency with MS Office tools (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
• Advanced social media skills (Examples: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube)
• Experience with contracts
• A grasp of the end-to-end steps involved in a sales and purchase transaction
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field
