What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual (English/Spanish) Team Lead position at RamClean?
We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish / English) experienced commercial cleaner / janitor / custodian to be a Team Lead at a multi-building facility in Newport, Kentucky.
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
Shift Time: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Clean multiple buildings and ensure we meet the required scope of work and exceptional service level
- Perform standard janitorial services: Sweep/ mop hard floors, vacuum carpets, clean restrooms, pull trash, wipe desks, clean windows
- Lead and supervise a team of full and part time cleaners
- Perform inspections / audits
- Cover for cleaners are on vacation, call in sick or need time off
- You will play a key role in setting up and cleaning new accounts
Required:
- 5 years of experience as a commercial cleaner / janitor / custodian
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Reliable and accountable professional that takes pride in their work
- Experienced running a commercial auto scrubber
- Willingness to work evening shifts, flexible hours and occasional weekends
- Availability and capability to work 50 hours a week
- Great attitude and work ethic
- Ability to travel in the area. Reliable vehicle with drivers license and good driving record
- Ability to communicate with cleaners and management
- Bilingual. Fluent in Spanish and English
Preferred but not required:
- 10 years of experience as commercial cleaning
- Experienced using janitorial service software/apps for inspections
- Experienced with floor stripping / waxing
- Experienced with carpet cleaning
- Experienced with Window Cleaning
Pay rate: $18 - $19 per hour depending on experience and ability to use janitorial equipment.
