Job Title: Church Facilities / Site Support Specialist
Location: Horizon Community Church – Newtown, Ohio
Hours: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
(RamClean/Horizon Community Church) is seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to oversee the church facilities during weekday afternoons and evenings. This role ensures the church remains a welcoming, clean, and secure environment for guests and ministry activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess strong organizational and hospitality skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Oversight & Security
- Monitor the premises to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.
- Perform end-of-day shutdown procedures, including locking up and setting alarms.
- Conduct routine security checks throughout the shift to make sure doors locked.
Event Support & Hospitality
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment.
- Communicate with ministry leaders and staff regarding facility usage.
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Perform cleaning tasks, such as wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, and ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked.
- Coordinate with the cleaning team to maintain overall facility cleanliness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in facility sanitation, event coordination is a plus.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to high quality excellent service.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
