PURPOSE: The Inside Sales position is a salaried position based on required job duties. The position is many times the initial point of contact for customers. Primary responsibilities are to ensure customer requests are addressed promptly or directed to the responsible party.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Actively listen to our customer inquiries to deliver an overwhelming sense of customer satisfaction.
- Assist Sales Engineers with required duties when Sales Engineers are away from the office.
- Often be first point of contact in public relations and customer service.
- Review and enter purchase orders and material releases.
- Interact with external customer websites and programs.
- Communicate customer requests throughout Ramco.
- Facilitate and disperse customer operational requirements to appropriate Ramco departments.
- Internal order expediting, proof of deliveries, and shipping documents.
- Monitor customer internet databases and performing necessary tasks.
- Complete additional tasks or projects as directed by management.
- Must be familiar with the requirements of and comply with TS16949.
- Abide by the guidelines and embrace the principles of the Ramco employee manual.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS listed below are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be successful in this position.
- Experience with Inside Sales or Customer Service required
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- Experience in the fastener industry or related industry preferred.
- Experience with the requirements of the automotive and/or heavy truck industries a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifting, up to 10 pounds may be required. This requirement may be modified in certain cases to accommodate individuals with all other qualifications, but with physical limitations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
General office, laboratory, shop and warehouse environment with varying climates.
Some exposure to oils, greases, cleaning fluids and dust/dirt.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
