Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas, including restrooms, offices, floors, and communal spaces, are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. This role will allow for plenty of flexibility in schedule
Responsibilities
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Window Cleaning: Wash interior and exterior windows to maintain a clear and professional appearance.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, as well as deep-clean carpets as needed.
- Office Cleaning: Dust surfaces, empty trash cans, and sanitize desks and high-touch areas.
- Common Area Upkeep: Clean and disinfect tables, break rooms, and other shared spaces.
- Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials from all designated areas.
- Light Maintenance: Report any damages or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Follow all safety and cleaning protocols, including handling cleaning chemicals safely and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
- Skills in floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing, are highly desirable.
- Experience in residential painting or general maintenance tasks is a plus.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards is essential.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
