We are looking for a Material Handler to undertake a variety of duties that include, but are not limited to: Pulling inventory, moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders. Loading and unloading product deliveries by pulling them from trucks and putting them on shelves.
A crucial part of your role would be: Loading customers vehicles with their orders. Exceptional customer service skills are necessary for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
- Operate trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move material
- Perform and report cycle counts
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
- Verify, and load customer vehicles with their order
- Desire to work as part of a team
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven experience as a material handler, customer load out, or shipping/receiving position
- Prior history operating a forklift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- General knowledge on warehouse safety rules
- Attention to detail when fulfilling orders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
