Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of beverage service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests through excellent service, drink preparation, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations while preparing drinks and serving food items if applicable.
- Engage with customers to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive environment for guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
