Business Development Manager
Westland Construction is a leading commercial construction company known for delivering high-quality, innovative building solutions. We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Business Development Manager to help drive our growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships, and expanding our footprint in the commercial construction space. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of construction experience who is looking to step into a high-impact role with room to grow. You’ll work closely with our Executive VP, gaining hands-on mentorship and insight into the business development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in commercial construction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, architects, developers, and other key partners
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and project pursuits
- Represent Westland Construction at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business
- Collaborate with the Executive VP and other internal teams to align business development strategies with company goals
- Track market trends and competitor activity to identify strategic growth opportunities
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (experience in the construction industry strongly preferred)
- Willingness and ability to learn about construction services and industry best practices
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a results-driven mindset
- Ability to think strategically and critically to support long-term planning and decision-making
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
