About The Role
We’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to lead the charge in automating and optimizing recruiting processes. This role will be instrumental in reducing administrative work, minimizing human error, and ensuring a seamless transition from Talent to People Operations.
Using automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Front, Zapier, etc.), you will develop and implement scalable workflows that enhance the talent team’s efficiency. Beyond creating systems, this individual will set the tone for automation within the talent team, championing a culture of operational excellence and empowering recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators to integrate automation into their day-to-day work.

Beyond creating systems, this individual will set the tone for automation within the talent team, championing a culture of operational excellence and empowering recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators to integrate automation into their day-to-day work.
What You’ll Do
- Lead automation efforts across the talent team, setting a long-term vision for how tools and workflows can improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Develop and implement automated recruiting workflows to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden
- Optimize recruiting coordination processes, streamlining interview scheduling, candidate communication, and follow-ups to enhance both speed and accuracy
- Reduce manual errors and administrative workload by creating standardized templates and automation for offer letters, candidate tracking, and interviewer feedback collection
- Ensure seamless collaboration between Talent and People Operations, improving the transition from hiring to onboarding and reducing the opportunity for human error
- Automate and improve on existing headcount management dashboards in Google Sheets and Ashby to improve workforce planning as the company scales
- Act as a strategic partner to recruiters and hiring managers, identifying inefficiencies in existing processes and implementing solutions that drive operational excellence
- Empower and upskill recruiters and coordinators in automation to ensure the team integrates automation into their daily workflows
- Continuously iterate and refine recruiting processes based on recruiter feedback, data insights, and evolving business needs
- 3 years of experience in talent or people operations, recruiting coordination, business operations, or workflow automation, ideally within a fast-paced environment
- Obsession with automation tools like Zapier, ChatGPT, or others to build workflows
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
- Experience integrating ATS, HRIS, payroll, and communication tools to optimize recruiting, coordination, and onboarding processes
- Ability to set a vision for automation and help the talent team adopt new tools and workflows
- Strong ability to context-switch across multiple recruiting functions, collaborating with recruiters, coordinators, hiring managers, and People Ops
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring automation implementations and scheduling processes are accurate and reliable
