Seeking Full Time Pre-Press Lead Technician

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Pre-Press Lead Technician.

Responsibilities include:
- Ability to produce accurate, thorough, professional work on time and as scheduled.
- Able to coordinate and work well with others.
- Able to communicate clearly, accurately and thoroughly.
- Able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and problem solve both independently and together with each department.
- Prepare accurate files for each print project.
- Checks work to ensure marks are correct including center marks, corner trims, punch marks, job name and color designations are accurate.
- Report errors or deviations from standard work orders to Production Manager
- Completes a Quality Control Checklist prior to advancing job to next step in production.
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience with offset pre-press production environment
- Knowledge of required traps, overprints, knockouts, minimum type and line thickness.
- Creates traps, bleed and creep for different types of printing per specifications to ensure customer jobs print properly.
- Adjust/color correct files to match customer specifications
- Place proper marks, color bars, etc. on jobs, as required.
- Must be familiar with FUJI XMF imposition software or equivalent
- Experience with Enfocus PitStop Pro, Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, & Photoshop
