Salary: $94,500 - $138,000/year* profit sharing benefits

Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. What You’d Do in This Role:

Our growing in-house legal team is unlike almost any other corporate legal team you’ll ever work with. You’ll be working with a great team that supports you and appreciates the effort you put in. You’re seen as a valuable team member, not a robot or an obstacle. Next, the work is interesting and not just the same old monotonous routine day in and day out. There’s variety in what you’ll be doing, from reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to assisting the business with new initiatives to working with our creatives on exciting projects to dealing with interesting Intellectual Property matters — just to name a few. But most importantly, you’ll be doing work that matters with a company that has a great culture and lives out its core values.

Our Counsel position will work directly with all members of our legal team as well as our business leaders. Counsel will support our business units and matrix functions by helping to draft and negotiate customer and vendor agreements and will be responsible for drafting and negotiating such agreements, as well as providing daily legal advice and helping to resolve legal and regulatory matters as they arise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide strategic direction and advice for the full spectrum of legal, business, and operations support required by the company.

You’re Probably a Match If:

• You have a Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited, reputable university and membership in good standing with at least one state bar required
• You have 4 years of experience as a transactional/corporate attorney at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department
• Privacy and compliance experience is a big plus
• Media, entertainment, and intellectual property experience is also a plus

What Winning Looks Like:

• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate legal documents across a wide variety of categories, including customer and third-party vendor agreements
• Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of all company business segments to better advise and provide legal, contractual, and regulatory advice as well as assist in furthering business initiatives and strategies
• Establish, manage, and maintain strong collaborative relationships with a variety of internal clients across all areas of the company
• Identify legal and business risks, work with appropriate legal and business team members to find targeted solutions to those risks, and implement risk mitigation
