Position Overview:
· The Data Architecture & Advanced Analytics Manager will lead efforts to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of data assets across the organization. The role includes facilitating and enabling secure data access for stakeholders and overseeing processes such as data lifecycle management, metadata management, data quality monitoring, and data lineage tracing. Reporting directly to the Director of Data Strategy & Management (Chief Data Officer), this role is pivotal in establishing robust data governance practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Experience:
· 3–5 years in compliance and controls (candidates with 6–8 years are also welcome).
· Strong expertise in defining governance, identifying risks, conducting compliance checks, creating control matrices, structures, and KPI reporting.
Required Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
· At least 7 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data governance.
· Certification in Data Architecture or Engineering (e.g., Google, Microsoft Azure, AWS, DASCA, DGSP, CDP, CDS, IGP, etc.).
· Proficiency in SQL and tools like Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
· Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and associated data risks.
· Knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DMBOK, ADM) and tools like Informatica, Collibra, Alation, BigID, or Purview
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
· Azure Cloud or other relevant cloud services experience.
· SAP experience.
· Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
