Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Greet clients with a friendly, professional demeanor, answering calls and responding to inquiries regarding services, scheduling, and general information.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment booking and cancellations efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of patients and accurate scheduling.
- Administrative Support: Maintain and update patient records, assist with filing, and ensure all data entry is accurate.
- Payment Processing: Handle client billing, process payments, and manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with clients about procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Medical Office Operations: Assist with general office duties in a veterinary hospital setting, keeping the environment organized and helping maintain a clean and safe area.
Requirements and Desired Skill Set
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in a veterinary setting or medical office environment is highly preferred but not required. We’re happy to provide training to the right candidate with customer service or medical office experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, staff, and vendors in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Customer Service Focus: A compassionate, friendly, and positive attitude to make clients feel welcome and supported.
- Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting.

Ranch Animal Hospital, located in Bradenton, Florida, is a full-service, small veterinary hospital that has been providing care for dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds. We are a state-of-the-art facility that features a large reception area, eight exam rooms, an in-house laboratory, a pharmacy, a double surgical suite, a treatment area, a digital radiology suite, and separate wards for feline, canine and intensive care patients.
