As a fast growing and well-respected private practice in Southwest Riverside County, the role of our physicians in our practice are to examine and treat patients, regardless of age or sex. Ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary. Description
- Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care.
- Full-time is 40 hours per work week.
- Competitive salary.

Required education and experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- NP: National NP Board Certification in aligned specialty with the practice area.
- PA: Current California Physician Assistant (PA) license and current PA Certification from NCCPA.
- A minimum of two (2 ) or more years of relevant experience as a NP or PA.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:
- EMR: Athena, EPIC, ECW
- Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
- Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology.
- Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications.
- In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Expected Hours of Work
- Full-time APP in family practice (30-40 hours per work week).
- Providers see approximately three patients per hour.
- Telemedicine appointments available.
- 4 or 5-day work week options.
- Schedule: 8-9.5-hour shift.
- Call schedule to be determined.
