Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the hiring committee for staffing needs.
- Conducts pre-screening calls to applicants, then sets appointment(s) with the HR Manager for phone interview. Follows up and confirms the interview one day prior when applicable.
- Assists with the update of job requirements and job descriptions for all positions as they develop or change.
- Schedules, prepares, and facilitates onboading for all new hires / collects required documentation
- Maintains all current and past team members files
- Assists HR Manager in maintaining, updating, and coaching others on Payroll and HR systems – Paylocity and / or Pinpoint
- Helps with compensation and benefits for all employees as directed by HR Manager
- Manages paid time off for all employees as directed by the HR Manager
- Helps ensure performance management is being utilized by all levels of leadership including but not limited to annual reviews, write ups, performance improvement, etc..
- Manage employee/residents including leases, balances, payroll deductions, etc.
- Assists HR Manager in ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining necessary records.
- Participates in continuing education within the Human Resources field to remain in compliance with laws, regulations, and general ‘best practices’
- Most importantly, the applicant chosen must maintain strict and total confidentiality of all company and / or team member information to the highest degree. “Extreme Ethics” must be shown at all times.
