What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Front Desk Office Manager position at Randolph & Associates Family Dentistry?
The front desk office manager is responsible for all of the administrative duties. The office manager must schedule staff, manage staff and coordinate staff meetings. The office manager will review billing and claims and support front desk.
Qualifications
- Three to five years experience managing staff
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and detailed work assignments with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, staff, and dentists
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Capacity to complete tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to manage different work styles of various staff members
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Good time management skills
Areas of Responsibility
- Manage cash including reviewing daily deposits
- Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Review billing and claims process
- Maintain and manage office supplies
- Perform nightly deposit drops
- Coordinate IT and software support with third party vendors
- Support front desk as needed
- Manage building maintenance contracts and cleaning services with third party vendors
Valid Illinois Driver’s License is required
