Responsible for mammographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment. Provides direct patient care to all types of patients. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.
Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CEHEA) accredited radiography program or equivalent. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in radiography, or equivalent. Should be a radiographer demonstrating a knowledge base or experience to successfully complete breast procedures. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in mammography. (RTR-M, ARRT). Two years preferred.
