This opportunity is for a talented Manufacturing Supervisor to join us, based at our site in Kearneysville, West Virginia. This newly created role will be responsible for the formulation, dispense, labelling and assembly of all Randox diagnostic products on this site.
Location: Onsite, Kearneysville, West Virginia.
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week.
What does this role involve?
This role will focus on ensuring all relevant processes are followed and all relevant quality standards are met in relation to the manufacture of all products.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the manufacturing area ensuring all manufacturing staff are compliant
- Devising work schedules and ensuring all targets are met
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is reviewed prior to implementing manufacturing activities and work carried out is completed to the requirements stipulated in the production procedures - following recommended good manufacturing practices.
- To deal with any issues which may arise during any stage of the manufacturing process
- Ensuring all relevant equipment and documentation associated are fit for purpose and calibration records are monitored and maintained through the quality management system
- Ensuring stock levels of all required components and finished product are accurate and are monitored through the stock control system
- Ensuring all staff are fully trained in any relevant process and all training documents are complete and accurate through the quality management system
- Ensuring that any production reports are submitted to the relevant manager and key performance indicators are complied and monitored for output and efficiency
- Raising, investigation and completion of any non-Conforming product, Product/Process Change Authorizations and Concessions
- Completion of CAPA’s in response to internal and external audits
Essential criteria:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar level manufacturing role
- Proven track record of leading and growing manufacturing teams.
- Experience of using Quality Management Systems
- Right to work in the USA.
- Strong computer literacy
Desirable:
- Experience of Manufacturing within a regulated sector
- Previous involvement in prepping for internal or external audits
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
- Stable work history showing progression.
- Previous laboratory or manufacturing lab based experience
