This opportunity is for Manufacturing Operatives to join Randox, based at our site in Kearneysville, West Virginia. These newly created roles will be involved in the formulation, dispense, labelling and assembly of all Randox diagnostic products on this site.
Location: Onsite, Kearneysville, West Virginia.
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week.
What does this role involve?
This is a hands-on manufacturing role that requires staff to follow strict SOPs and work instructions during the manufacturing process of our products.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- The set up, operation, calibration and routine maintenance of all relevant equipment alongside all relevant documentation
- Preparation and completion of all required documentation relevant to the process ensuring they are completed to the departmental quality standards
- Ensuring stock levels of all required components and finished product are accurate and are monitored through the stock control system
- Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems
- Daily cleaning of all equipment and working area including removal of waste, cleaning of floors and completion of cleaning records
- To alert the manufacturing supervisor/manager immediately to any problems during any stage of the process
- Assisting in other areas as and when required
Essential criteria:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Confident mathematical skills (for working out calculations)
- Right to work in the USA.
- Strong computer literacy
Desirable:
- Working Knowledge of Quality systems
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety including COSHH
