Job Summary

For this contractor assignment, we are looking an IT Project Portfolio Analyst Lead for an Enterprise Project Management Organization. In this contractor role, you will assist various project teams and our customers with their project schedule support needs.?

This contractor will utilize knowledge of Project Management and MS Project to consult on project delivery and operational needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Provides consulting services on moderately complex questions and issues regarding all aspects of the project/program management lifecycle.
• Provides guidance, including recommendations/interpretation, on project and program processes and standards.
• Conducts assessments on moderately complex IT projects and/or program deliverables.
• Conducts peer-type reviews on moderately complex IT projects and/or program deliverables.
• Maintains and manages the service's team service request work queue.
• Leads the development and continuous improvement of standards and/or processes and contributes to development of Enterprise-wide standards and/or processes, with an emphasis on IT schedules.
  
  

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 8 years of related work experience in an IT analyst, IT project planning/scheduling role, or some combination of the two.
• {OR} Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or IT discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in an IT analyst, IT project planning/scheduling role, or some combination of the two.
  
  

skills: Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in a PMO Delivery (Project Management), Service/PMO role, and IT project and/or program management
• Demonstrated ability to use and consult on current Project Manager Tools: Project Web App (PWA), Azure DevOps, MS Project, Work Force Management solutions, and/or PPM solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to consult and provide project guidance to Project Managers on Predictive & Adaptive delivery frameworks and SDLC.
• Project baseline knowledge and schedule creation and provide schedule support for all types of IT Project schedules (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, Small Work/etc.)
