Our IT team is integral to our mission, continuously driving improvement and optimization across all systems. We're searching for an experienced Network Engineer to help us elevate our network infrastructure and keep us ahead of the curve.

responsibilities:

• Design, configure, install, and optimize advanced network technologies across multiple sites. This includes routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, wireless technologies, VPN, dark fiber, and WAVE circuits.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and ensure the smooth operation of our Data Center and enterprise network for peak performance.
• Oversee network upgrades, applying patches, service packs, and security updates to maintain and enhance system integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, consistently ensuring optimal performance and uptime (99.999%).
• Lead efforts to maintain network security across systems, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing effective solutions.
• Implement solutions to address infrastructure bottlenecks, scaling needs, and ongoing system optimization.
• Provide support to our IT Helpdesk in resolving advanced network-related incidents.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing the latest network technologies and industry standards.

qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, ideally with hands-on experience in advanced network management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field (preferred).

skills:

• Expertise in Cisco technologies, including WAN/LAN, wireless, and L2/L3 troubleshooting, with a strong background in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and security protocols (IPSec, STP, TCP/IP).
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet products such as FortiGate Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiCloud.
• Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control.
• Bonus: Experience with Cisco DNAC leveraging SDA, control/OT networks, SolarWinds, Cisco phone systems, and QoS management.
• Previous experience in handling advanced troubleshooting in highly complex network environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proven history of driving technical projects to completion with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
