What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Randstad Enterprise?
This would be a 3 month contract with potential extension for the right person. This would be hybrid onsite, 3 days per week in Melville, NY.
This role is 60/40 accounting/analysis related work. This team is unique and serves as a liaison between Financial Business Partners and Senior Leadership.
Role:
- Pivotal role in preparing, analyzing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and integrity of corporate financial
- Prepare and analyze detailed reports relating to the P&L
- Review and assist in preparing critical corporate journal entries
- Oversee and assist in preparation and analytical review of various schedules included in the Quarterly Review book
- Oversee and assist in preparation of the quarterly footnotes
- Special accounting and reporting projects
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA highly preferred
- Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting, and analysis, preferably in a corporate environment
- Corporate Reporting standards and experience preferred
- OneStream or Essbase experience
- SAP knowledge
- Ability to independently own projects and collaborate with leaders. Comfort with making decisions or recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills) and financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical acumen
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
