Role Overview:
The Document Control Technician is a quality-focused individual who accurately manages the flow of site documents, the archival index, filing, scanning, and organization of the archive room.
The Document Control Technician is responsible for the following:
- Management of the archive room including organizing, filing, and retrieving documents as needed.
- Adherence to the corporate and company policies for record retention of documents stored in the archive room.
- Process incoming hard copies as well as retrieval requests.
- Scanning and uploading documents into the electronic repository
- Other duties in Document Control as needed.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
Minimum of one-year experience with filing in a regulated industry, pharmaceutical or medical device experience with direct document control experience preferred.
Competencies:
- Must have effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with a high degree of accuracy and recall
- Must have strong written, oral, interpersonal, group, and telephone communication skills
- Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail required
- Strong Customer service skills
