Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Planner to provide immediate support to the North America Account Management team for a reputable beauty brand located in New York, NY. This opportunity is temporary starting ASAP lasting until end of June 2025 with the ability to extend and/or convert permanently based on performance and the business needs of the team. The role can be fully remote however individuals may need to flex to different time zones. If you are located in the New York Metropolitan area, the team would welcome you to come into their brand corporate offices located in SoHo.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete Order Writing File Weekly – Input/ Update ALL New Product Launch and Basic Orders across Accounts
- Manage Stock & Sales Tracker
- Work In-Season with Retailer Partners and Internal Cross Functional Teams:
- Support Account Lead with Weekly Sales & Inventory Analysis (SKU/ Category Analysis – WOS Callouts, OOS, Units in Trade, etc.)
- Review Launch Performance and Identify New Product Launch Reorder Opportunities
- Manage Stock & Sales Tracker
- Setup New Products in Retailer System – Item Setup For
- Place and Track Purchase Orders for New Product Launches (PO Tracking is Key)
- Reconcile and validate RTVs and MDs with Retailers and Internal Partners
- Sample GWP Execution (Allocations, No Cost Orders, etc.)
- Partner with Account Lead on Building Blocks for Monthly Estimate (Basic/ New Product Launch Performance, etc.)
- Collaborate Pre-Season with Retailer Partners and Internal Cross Functional Teams:
- Communicate Pricing Updates to Retailers
- Forecasting for New Product Launches, vet large programs with Retailers
- Partner with Account Lead on Budget and Building Blocks
- Work to complete Commercial Drivers to support additional demand need for incremental programs/ assortment updates and changes in promo
Qualifications:
- Sales, demand, item, or similar forecasting background
- Beauty experience is preferred however not required, open to individuals with experience working in similar industries
- Experience working with key retailers within the beauty/fashion space
- Solution-oriented mindset: Individual must consider themselves to be flexible and able to pivot priorities to adjust to the business needs
- Understanding of the big picture- how can we sell more for the brand and take care of our customer
- Team player, strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
- Strong communicator, comfortable working cross functionally
Salary : $50 - $55
