What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Randstad Enterprise?
This would be a 1-year contract with potential extension or conversion to perm/fte for the right person. This hybrid onsite role requires working in Culver City, 2-3 days per week.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience liaising with business stakeholders and explaining complex findings to non-finance groups.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all month-end close and estimate processes.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and Creative teams to manage A&P spend within budget, understanding key activations and rephrasing/repurposing spend as needed.
- Provide P&L reporting and variance analysis versus estimate and plan, highlighting potential risks and opportunities, and work with teams to identify solutions and mitigation plans.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reports, including performance reviews, risk and opportunities, variance analysis, retail sale reporting, Investor Relations, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Support the annual budget & long-range planning process by providing analytical support and deep dives as needed.
- Track and report NPL product claims spend versus budget and estimate.
- Support purchasing processes, ensuring compliance.
- Provide financial planning and reporting support for Global & NA Regions, including New Product Launch ROI, Mix of Business reporting, Gross Margin expansion, and ad-hoc reporting and modeling.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
- 3 years' experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Firm understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
- Experience in monthly estimates.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, excellent systems and Excel skills.
- Well organized, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proactive and execution-focused, can work independently with guidance.
- Team player with good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- SAP experience is beneficial.
