responsibilities :
Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic initiatives.
Lead and provide direction to the manufacturing departments, including Production, Procurement, Machine Shop, Assembly, Shipping & Receiving, and Building Maintenance.
Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and boost output, while upholding the highest standards of quality.
Oversee production schedules, workforce allocation, equipment, and materials to ensure timely production and on-time deliveries.
Establish and maintain rigorous quality control protocols to ensure products consistently meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Foster a safety-first culture by promoting and enforcing safety policies, practices, and procedures throughout the organization.
Work closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and streamline procurement operations.
Monitor operational expenses to ensure alignment with budget targets without compromising quality or safety standards.
Lead initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma to drive operational excellence, identify cost reduction opportunities, and improve overall performance.
Encourage a culture of learning and growth by mentoring team members, identifying training opportunities, and supporting their professional development.
Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and overall performance for senior management, utilizing data insights to drive informed decision-making. Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
Proven experience in senior operations leadership within a manufacturing environment, preferably in capital equipment or machinery sectors.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and supply chain operations.
Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
