We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and integration of medium-voltage electrical systems for utility-scale applications. In this position, you will ensure compliance with Grid Code regulations, including Anti-Islanding, Frequency Ride-Through, and Voltage Ride-Through requirements, while working with medium-voltage inverters and their integration with the utility power grid. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of experience in designing and analyzing electrical systems, with a strong focus on power grid interfaces, Arc Flash Analysis, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with Grid Code regulations, including Anti-Islanding, Frequency Ride-Through, and Voltage Ride-Through requirements.
- Work with medium-voltage inverters and their integration with the utility power grid.
- Conduct Arc Flash Analysis for large-scale electrical systems, supporting drive systems up to 5MVA and grid connections at 15KV, 20KV, and 34.5KV levels.
- Determine appropriate sizing and configuration for medium-voltage drives, transformers, protective relays, and switchgear for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Apply NEC and UL standards for both low- and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create electrical schematics for power and control systems.
- Develop technical documentation, including datasheets, technical specifications, and product / EPC warranties, for North American projects.
