Our client near Montville NJ is looking to add an Electronic Technician to their growing team for a contract to hire opportunity. The length of the contract assignment will be about a year before conversion. We are looking for individuals who have a great understanding of digital and analog circuit boards. This role will focus on testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating these boards to the component level. Ethernet level networking experience is beneficial, but we are generally looking for an Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience. responsibilities :
Verify the proper operation of digital and analog electronic circuit boards.
Isolate faults and repairs components once the issue is identified.
Create and maintain test procedures and documentation as needed.
Adhere to approved board-level testing procedures and ensures proper equipment functionality for both self-manufactured and purchased products.
Participate in Source Inspections.
May assist with additional tasks as directed by supervision.
Occasional overtime may be required.
