Are you ready to take on a new purchasing leadership role in 2025? We are hiring a Purchasing Supervisor to lead purchasing functions and personnel at an automotive company here in Metro Detroit. Prior automotive experience and supervisory experience is a must. Other experience that would be ideal includes : supply chain management, supplier risk management, cost negotiations, and program launch experience. (Any experience related to the Big 3 would be helpful, too, but not required.) This is a permanent, leadership role with excellent benefits. Responsibilities
The Purchasing Supervisor directs and coordinates activities of purchasing and part supply personnel engaged in procurement and distribution of automotive parts and assemblies.
They also manage a staff of buyers, oversee purchasing activities across multiple program channels, ensure timely supplier shipments are met, and provide cross functional leadership across Program Management / Engineering / Quality.
