What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Randstad?
The Quality Inspector performs a variety of quality audits on products in production for assigned process areas. The candidate will use gages, microscopes and / or vision system and refers to blueprints to perform audit function. Results of final inspections are documented on required forms.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections on vendor supplied material
- Use standard inspection equipment including vision systems, calipers, micrometers, go / no go gages, pin gages, etc.
- Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day
- Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to send and receive data instructions via E-mail using the above applications
- Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management
- Use ERP system (SAP) in order to accept or reject material based on inspection results
