Industry leading and growing manufacturer located in the Portland, Oregon area is looking for a Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager. This is not a hyrbrid or remote position.
This role comes with a very competitive salary commensurate with experience ranging from $110k to $130k plus an annual bonus and relocation assistance.
The ideal candidate will possess quality management and continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience championing quality management systems, driving CI and process improvements are highly desired. Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred but not required.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities :
- Shape Our Future : Develop, implement, and sustain a robust quality management system that aligns with our annual business plan and long-term strategy. Your leadership will be essential in guiding our quality initiatives to success!
- Ensure Excellence : Maintain and enhance our systems to meet customer and third-party specifications for all activities and products, ensuring we deliver top-notch quality every time.
- Measure What Matters : Create and maintain performance metrics to measure our progress against established standards. You'll be our eyes and ears, monitoring performance and communicating necessary actions for improvement.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve : Keep track of industry standards from external bodies and seamlessly integrate them into our internal quality management systems. You'll be the bridge between regulatory requirements and our operational practices.
- Foster a Culture of Quality : Establish an effective communication strategy to raise awareness of quality issues across all departments. Your voice will help us all embrace quality as a shared responsibility!
- Lead with Purpose : Plan and manage departmental activities within agreed budgets and timelines, ensuring that quality is at the heart of everything we do.
- Connect and Collaborate : Liaise with quality management and standards bodies (e.g., Government Departments, HSE) and work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve our processes.
- Mentor Future Leaders : Act as a mentor for Six Sigma projects, guiding teams through problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
