We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, month-end close processes, reconciliations, audits, and regulatory compliance filings.
salary : $28.5 - $33.5 per hour
shift : First
work hours : 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Performing day-to-day accounting functions which will require obtaining an understanding of the entire accounting process and working collaboratively with all departments within Accounting.
- Monthly general ledger close - preparing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and analyses, and preparing month-end reports for Senior Management.
- Preparing and maintaining reconciliations and schedules for interim and year-end financial statement audits.
- Preparing reconciliations and other supporting documentation for various other audits including sales tax and corporate tax audits.
- Maintaining detailed schedules for insurance, leases and automobiles.
- Maintain tenant schedules and prepare tenant billings.
- Assisting with regulatory compliance filings.
- Maintaining, up-keeping and filing paperwork within Accounting.
