Our client is hiring a visionary leader to drive the marketing and brand strategy for a community-focused organization. In this role, you will develop and execute bold, innovative marketing initiatives that amplify the organization's purpose, foster strong community connections, and elevate its brand presence. Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead efforts to integrate digital marketing, social media engagement, and experiential campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.
As the steward of the brand, you will lead the development of purpose-driven marketing campaigns that emphasize community impact, social responsibility, and financial education. You will also oversee a high-performing marketing team, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments to ensure the alignment of strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in brand transformation, digital marketing, and leadership within the financial services or similar sectors, with a passion for creating meaningful connections and driving organizational growth.

responsibilities : A typical day might include the following :
Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; managing performance; rewarding and coaching associates; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Brand Leadership and Vision :
Develop a bold brand vision that aligns with the organization's community-focused mission, positioning it as a leader in both its sector and social responsibility. Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, including digital platforms, retail locations, and advertising channels. Oversee the application of brand standards in signage, decor, and customer experiences to maintain consistency with the overall brand identity. Lead brand reputation management strategy, ensuring the brand is viewed as trustworthy and community-centric. Develop and manage crisis communication plans, ensuring the brand remains resilient in the face of challenges with clear communication strategies. Collaborate with HR to enhance employer branding, positioning the organization as a purpose-driven company that attracts top talent. Lead internal marketing initiatives to promote organizational values and ensure employees are aligned with the brand's mission and vision.
Community Impact and Purpose-Driven Marketing :
Lead the development of purpose-driven marketing that highlights the organization's commitment to community impact, social responsibility, and education, positioning it as a positive force for change in local communities. Ensure the organization's partnerships with local entities align strategically with the broader mission of uplifting communities. Develop marketing strategies that showcase commitment to the community, including corporate social responsibility initiatives and local partnerships. Leverage marketing campaigns to position the organization as a trusted partner, driving impact through financial literacy, sustainability, and social responsibility.
Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy :
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing, to increase brand visibility, drive engagement, and position the organization as a tech-savvy leader in its sector. Ensure social media efforts reflect the organization's purpose-driven mission and build community engagement across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Partner with data analytics to inform SEO and digital marketing strategies, optimizing campaigns to drive traffic, leads, and engagement. Leverage videography for effective storytelling and connection.
Strategic Campaign Execution :
Lead content and creative strategy using a structured and matrixed approach for personalization, with a focus on strong positioning and messaging. Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across digital and physical retail spaces. Collaborate with product, data analytics, and UX teams to ensure campaigns are customer-centric and tailored to meet the needs of diverse markets. Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring all initiatives are cost-effective, align with organizational objectives, and deliver a strong ROI. Efficiently allocate resources between awareness and performance marketing, balancing profitability with purpose, while ensuring the brand remains aligned with its community goals.
Retail Spaces and Brand Consistency :
Ensure that all retail spaces (branches, pop-up locations, and event spaces) are fully aligned with the organization's brand identity, reflecting brand consistency in design, signage, and overall customer experience. Collaborate with retail operations, facilities, and design teams to ensure branding guidelines are met across physical locations, ensuring members experience the same high standard of service and brand immersion whether online or in-person.
Team Leadership and Collaboration :
Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration across departments to deliver consistent brand and marketing strategies across all digital and physical locations.
