Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

10-20 hours of overtime available per week during our peak season!

Responsibilities

• Moving and handling large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment (75 lbs or more)
• Ensuring proper, safe and timely handling of inbound and outbound freight
• Maintain a clean work environment with a focus on protecting the customer’s freight from damage through proper handling techniques
• Assisting with administrative duties related to shipments
• Ensure all inbound and outbound Freight is accurately and efficiently received, scanned, and shipped daily in accordance with company procedures

Skills

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Self-motivated and results focused
• Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
• Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
• Dock environment includes close proximity to moving vehicles and equipment
• Physical labour (bending crouching, etc.)
• Environment of physical activity, including bending, stretching, lifting, etc
• Repeatedly lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
