Description : Summary :
This position is responsible for managing the AP Inbox and processing vendor invoices. Responsible for assisting with weekly payment runs. This person will also provide support for the accounting team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Codes, verifies, and electronically enters invoices into ERP system
Manages the AP Inbox and ensures that invoices and emails are being sent to the correct AP team member.
Follows up on account statements, communicates and ensure errors and variances are resolved or approved to process
Serves as liaison between departments and vendors in the resolution of administrative problems and inquiries
Assist with other Accounting duties as needed
Participate in accounting business decisions related to process improvement
Requirements :
Preferred Education and Experience :
Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures, and regulations.
Intermediate level of expertise with Excel and comfortable working with technology.
Experience with Great Plains or a similar mainframe accounting software package.

Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other requests for payment.
Ability to process computer data to format and generate reports.
Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate a willingness to accept new challenges is preferred.
Highly motivated, organized, team player, and willing to learn and grow.
Capable of lifting / carrying 15lbs and occasionally up to 30lbs.
